Contact Escape Ten about Commissions

Ivan Trevino is founding member of the cello rock band, Break of Reality, a band that has reached widespread audiences throughout the United States. As a composer of percussion music, Ivan has received multiple awards and commissions, including 1st Prize (2011) and 2nd Prize (2007) in the Percussive Arts Society's International Composition Contest. His indie-rock influence is evident in his compositions, which are regularly performed by collegiate and professional musicians around the world.

Steve Danyew's music has been hailed as 'startlingly beautiful' and 'undeniably well crafted and communicative' by the Miami Herald, and has been praised as possessing 'sensitivity, skill and tremendous sophistication' by the Kansas City Independent. He is the recipient of numerous awards including prizes from BMI, ASCAP, and CBDNA, to name a few. Steve received a B.M. cum laude, Pi Kappa Lambda from the Frost School of Music at the University of Miami and holds an M.M. in Composition and Certificate in Arts Leadership from the Eastman School of Music.

A Phoenix native, Drew is a master's student at the Eastman School of Music pursuing a degree in Percussion Performance & Literature and a Certificate in Arts Leadership. Passionate for new music and percussion education, he is active as a performer, teacher, and composer. In addition to his works for various percussion and mixed ensembles, his work for audience participation thirteen is featured on Erasable Color's debut CD of the same name. Currently, Drew serves as an Artistic Director for the Sound ExChange Project and as a board member for Ossia New Music Ensemble.

Stephen Ridley is a composer and orchestrator based in Los Angeles. His music features niche percussion instruments and electronics, blended with the traditional orchestra. Stephen has written music for productions on the ABC and HBO television networks in the US, as well as for short and feature films. His concert works for percussion have enjoyed many performances, both domestic and international. Stephen received his Masters in Music Composition from UCLA, where he studied with Paul Chihara, Roger Bourland and the late, great Jerry Goldsmith.
